Dollywood to celebrate milestone 40th anniverary in 2025 [Video]

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn — Dolly Parton has a new milestone to add to her long list of accomplishments. Her renowned Tennessee theme park, Dollywood, will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025. The year will mark four decades since the theme park grand opening in May 1986. 

In commemoration of the milestone, Dollywood has several special events, celebrations and returning favorites planned, according to a press release from the park. Events will kick off with Season Passholder Preview Day on Friday, March 14. 

A new 40th-anniversary show will debut Memorial Day weekend through the end of the summer, highlighting moments from guest-favorite shows.
