Do Gooders Host 10th Annual Christmas Feeding [Video]

VIRGINIA, USA — Ten years of tradition live on for the Do Gooders in Hampton. 

Volunteers and community members are at the Citizens Boys and Girls Club for their annual Christmas Feeding.

Whalan McDew is president of the Do Gooders organization.

He says this time of year can be sensitive for some, but this event is to make sure everyone has a home on Christmas and people to spend the holiday with.

Its success makes organizers reflect on their first Christmas Feeding in 2015.

Whalan says, “There were nine of us in the organization at the time. We didn’t know what we were going to do but we wanted to make it happen. We fed 50 people, and we thought that’s not a lot of people. But then we looked at it differently and were like hey …
