Discussing drainage for new development in Corpus Christi [Video]

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Wednesday land development and city officials held a work shop to discuss detention and stormwater projects that could impact future growth.

As Corpus Christi continues to grow and new developments come into parts of the city’s west and south sides, City leaders want to be mindful when it comes to flooding and drainage.

3NEWS caught up with one of the presenters from LJ Engineering, John Grounds, who described some of the effects of not properly planning for heavy rainfall events.
