Discussing Chaim Bloom and more [Video]

ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – The St. Louis Cardinals held their end-of-season press conference on Monday, a day after a disappointing 2024 season concluded for the club that saw the club miss the postseason for the second consecutive season and fifth time in the last nine seasons.

There were plenty of headlines and stories to come out of the press conference Monday, with the most major one being Chaim Bloom being named John Mozeliak’s successor as president of baseball operation, a role Bloom will take over after the 2025 season.

Along that, the Cardinals announced they will focus on developing their pipeline of players and given the club’s young core every opportunity to succeed at the major league level, which includes significant investments to the Cardinals’ facilities in Jupiter, Florida.
