DeWine announces new economic development project in Pickaway County [Video]

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Gov. Mike DeWine, Lt. Gov. Jon Husted and JobsOhio announced on Thursday that a defense industrial company is establishing an advanced facility in Pickaway County.

California-based Anduril Industries will build a five-million-square-foot facility called Arsenal-1, hoping to bring more than 4,000 new production and service jobs to Ohio by 2035.

According to DeWine’s office, the facility represents the largest single job creation and new payroll project in the state’s history. It is projected to add nearly $1 billion to Ohio’s gross domestic product.
