GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – On Tuesday, the city of Green Bay unanimously approved zoning for a series of development projects on the corner of Lombardi Avenue and Ridge Road near Lambeau Field. This decision came even after members of the surrounding neighborhood spoke out against the developer’s plans for the site.
Despite the concerns of neighbors in the Lombardi neighborhood, the Common Council says the developments have received a ton of support from the Green Bay community.
The gravel lot across from Lambeau Field will see three new buildings, including a 50-foot-tall development facing the Lombardi and Ridge intersection. Those buildings include commercial, retail, and office spaces, a new apartment building, as well as an eight-unit condo building.
