MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Shelby County Democratic Party spent the entire election season rallying voters to the polls, stressing the importance of voter turnout and engagement.
As Election Day arrived, party leaders expressed a renewed sense of energy and optimism for their candidates.
Mississippi Blvd Christian Church saw a steady flow of voters throughout the day. Pastor Gina Stewart, a prominent community leader, was present to encourage poll workers and ensure a smooth voting process.
“I’m here to give encouragement to the poll workers, to make sure the process goes smoothly and that everyone feels energized to cast their ballots,” Pastor Stewart said.
