Delegate math says that Harris may be unstoppable for Dem nomination [Video]

The Kamala Harris nomination train could be unstoppable.

Less than a day after President Joe Biden withdrew from the 2024 race and endorsed Vice President Harris to replace him, Harris has already rung up support from hundreds of Democratic delegates for the nomination.

The Associated Press reported that more than 700 delegates have either publicly announced or told the news agency that they plan to support Harris for the nomination, more than a third of the total needed for the nod.

Biden’s exit from the race releases his 3,896 delegates to support whomever they want at next month’s Democratic National Convention.

Quoting Democratic party rules, the AP said that 1,976 delegates are needed to win the nomination.

The Hill reported that three entire state delegations have already pledged themselves to support Harris for the Democratic nomination at the convention.
