ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque high school with roots dating back to the 1960s is gearing up to celebrate decades of educating their community. Albuquerque Public Schools said Del Norte High School was established in 1964 on the same land the school sits on today near Montgomery and San Mateo. However, the gymnasium is the only structure remaining from the original campus.
