Deion Branch, Louisville football players shop for families in need | News from WDRB [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A former University of Louisville football star and two-time Super Bowl champion shared some holiday cheer with families on Sunday.

Deion Branch and his foundation helped out 20 families by shopping with them for clothes, toys and gifts for loved ones at Walmart on Standiford Plaza Drive near Preston Highway. Louisville football players also helped the families.

Branch currently serves as Louisville football’s Director of Player Development and Alumni Relations. He said it’s important to show support for the community he loves.

Some of the children participating are in organizations like the West Louisville Performing Arts Academy and the Neighborhood House.

The Deion Branch Charitable Foundation was founded in 2004 to help ease the struggles of children struggling with health-related issues, like meningitis. To learn more about the foundation, click here
