Deadly Christmas Eve train crash spurs community support [Video]

FERGUSON, Mo. — The Ferguson Police Department is asking for the community’s help, as a north St. Louis County family grieves the loss of their beloved mother.

Ashley Hogan was killed on Christmas Eve, after a train hit her car in North St. Louis County. The 35-year-old leaves behind five daughters. 

Andrae Spraggins, a Ferguson police officer, has known Hogan since high school.

“She was a good person, hard worker, and one thing I know for certain is that she loved her kids. She loved her daughters, her five girls. That’s all she talked about,” he said.

Spraggins said Hogan’s daughters range from 6 to 15 years old.
