BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Davenport and Harris is celebrating 125 years of service in Alabama.

Davenport and Harris Funeral Home Inc. was established on Sept. 12, 1899 and is the oldest Black-owned business in the state of Alabama. The celebration will take place at the Ross Bridge Golf Resort at 6 p.m.
There will be music, dancing and food. There will also be a live performance by R&B singer, Kenny Lattimore. For more details, click here.
