Dangerously hot Thursday with extreme fire danger [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – High temperatures will be in the triple digits for nearly everyone outside of the Black Hills. A Heat Advisory is in place for much of northeast Wyoming and western South Dakota, while an Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for Sheridan and Carter Counties. Many record highs could be tied or broken.

If you are planning on going to Summer Nights in downtown Rapid City, be sure to stay hydrated through the event as temperatures are going to be in the triple digits early on and eventually the upper 90s toward the end.
