RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – In celebration of its 50th anniversary, the Dahl Arts Center is working on expanding its campus.
The first part of the expansion is an outdoor pocket park that will be located on the south lawn.
They don’t have a set date to start the project, but they hope to begin doing groundwork in 2025.
After the park, the center will start the second part of its expansion, creating a new front door to better connect the two Dahl buildings and make it more accessible for visitors.
Dahl Arts Center Executive Director Jacqui Deitrich says people in the community will benefit as the campus continues to evolve.
