CYFD: 789 truancy referrals amid chronic absenteeism in New Mexico schools [Video]

Video above: Parents received an ‘Attendance Pre-Notification’ letter on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, to address absenteeism for the new school year. The letter below addresses the percentage rate a student falls under if attendance requirements are not met throughout the school year.
