GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) – The students and staff of Abundant Life Christian School in Madison are still awaiting a “return to school” date after last month’s deadly school shooting.
Since the tragedy, people around the state have been looking for ways to help.
On Monday, dozens of Culver’s restaurants across Wisconsin are running a fundraiser to support the Abundant Life Christian School emergency and recovery fund created by the United Way in Dane County.
Culver’s says their greatest strength is found in the people making up their communities and the support they are receiving beyond the Madison area is a testament of the strength and unity in the communities they serve.
Amanda McMullen, the owner and operator of the Grand Chute Culver’s says they will donate ten percent of today’s sales to the recovery fund, providing relief to the people affected by the shooting.
