CRW Airport to make improvements [Video]

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – “Everyone is very excited here at CRW for everything that is on the horizon,” said the airport’s Executive Director and CEO Dominique Ranieri.

On the horizon is the extending of the main runway, as well as a new three-level terminal with six aircraft gates to create a better flight experience for passengers at West Virginia International Yeager Airport (CRW).

“Everything we do here at CRW is with our passengers and our community in mind. So, a lot of the improvements that we are going to be focusing on in the terminal building is to enhance that passenger experience,” Ranieri said.

In having more gate areas, Ranieri says it encourages additional airlines to join CRW which brings in new flight destinations.
