Crime Stoppers: Gas station clerk wants robber behind bars [Video]

WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – An East Wichita gas station clerk desperately wants an armed robber behind bars before he terrifies someone else.

Sukhbir Singh was working at last Wednesday at the Corner Market at K-96 and North Rock Road, when a man walked into the store. 

“He came from this side… he walked around the store…”

Then, the thief pulled out a gun on Singh.

“He had a gun, and he said, ‘give me all the money.'”

Singh did what the robber told him to do, and emptied the cash register. Then, the robber took off.

“It was very scary, because that was crazy people. He can shoot.”

Frequent customer Alex Grendahl saw the video, and says no one should have to go through this.

“Nobody deserves to be robbed at gunpoint. It’s a very scary situation, and I wouldn’t want to go through something like that.”
