GREAT BARRINGTON, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – Crews responded to Route 7 in Great Barrington on Wednesday where an excavator was on fire.
In photos posted to social media by the Great Barrington Fire Department, the excavator could be seen completely engulfed in flames.
Officials said the road was closed for a short time and the fire was put out quickly.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
