Creola Fire Department reports multiple fatalities on I-65 North [Video]

CREOLA, Ala. (WALA) – The Creola Fire Department reported this morning that it has responded to a major crash scene on Interstate 65.

The department posted via social media that there are multiple fatalities at the scene just north of Exit 22.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said it was a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:37a.m. today.

UPDATE: Just after 9 a.m. ALEA said I-65 northbound near the 21 mile marker in Mobile County will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
