Since 2016, CrankTank has been doing e-commerce and digital strategy for outdoor, bike, and ski industry brands around the world.
CrankTank’s growth can be seen in its now-16-person team and its decision to open an office in Europe. During the last three years, CEO and Founder Scott Montgomery said the company was lucky to be in the “right space at the right time,” with the shift to people shopping online and spending more time outside.
“We had a really big lift to all things outdoors during COVID, which was a lift in two ways for CrankTank. One is all the products that we represent went up in sales, and then also people shifted from going to stores to buying online and that shift has stayed and continued to grow,” Montgomery said.
