Cowboys postpone opening presser due to Jerry Jones’ trial [Video]

We’ll have to wait a few more days before we hear from Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones’ at the annual State of the Union address on the tennis courts in Oxnard, California, the site of the team’s first portion of training camp.

The organization announced Monday that the opening press conference scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed until Saturday.

The presser will begin at 11 a.m. CT and can be heard on 105.3 The Fan.

The release made no mention of why the press conference would be delayed, however, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Jones will be unable to address the media before the team’s first practice on Thursday because he’ll be attending the infamous paternity suit trial in Texarkana, Arkansas this week.
