Covenant health reveals new home build with Habitat for Humanity | Local [Video]

SAGINAW, Mich. (WJRT) – Covenant Health kicked off the next stage of its neighborhood revitalization program in Saginaw on Monday.

A ribbon cutting took place at their first new build. The project is in partnership with Habitat for Humanity and the State Housing Development Authority.

A spokesperson says they have been trying to tackle blight since 2008. 

With this program, they want to bring access to new housing to the community and help build up their neighbors.

“We don’t want to be in a tear-down mode anymore,” says Jacqueline Tinnin from Covenant Healthcare. “We want to preserve the property.
