Bob Salas has been with the City of San Angelo for 18 years.
SAN ANGELO, Texas — The City of San Angelo announced Friday that Neighborhood & Family Services Director, Bob Salas, is retiring after 18 years of service.
During his time with the City, Salas created the Neighborhood & Family Services Department which includes community development, social services, code compliance, animal services and WIC, COSA said on its Facebook page.
“He worked to eliminate veteran homelessness in our community and oversaw affordable housing projects that made more than 400 apartments available to low-to-moderate income residents,” the post says.
