HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – After a great debut last year, the Connecticut Pizza & Brew Festival returned to the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater Sunday afternoon.
The festival is a collaboration between Connoisseur Media and the New Haven Pizza School with the goal of celebrating Connecticut’s vibrant pizza culture. They were determined to make this year better than the last.
“We have doubled both pizza trucks and craft breweries from 2023, and even have two live bands and three pizza panels,” said Frank Zabski of the New Haven Pizza School. “It’s the biggest stand-alone pizza fest in the state.”
Dozens of pizzerias from all across the state participated in the festival including Alphonse’s Italian Street Food, Bella Maria Apizza Truck and Big Green Truck Pizza. There were even panel discussions with the highlight being “How to make a New Haven Style Pizza.”
