Community town hall being held in south Tulsa to raise fentanyl awareness | News [Video]

TULSA, Okla. — A community town hall discussion presented by Light of Hope to raise awareness about the dangers of fentanyl was held in south Tulsa on Tuesday evening.

“We’re hosting, in partnership with Light of Hope, the Fentanyl Town Hall,” said Tracey Ivy, the Pastor at Southern Hills United Methodist Church where the event was held. “We’ve done several of these to make our community aware of fentanyl and opioids in our community. The goal is to bring hope, healing, and passion and mercy to those that are experiencing challenges with this and we want also the community to recognize the signs that come along with a fentanyl user.”

The event was free and open to the public, acting as an open forum that provided the opportunity for the audience to ask questions to the various panelists in attendance.
