BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Jefferson County students had the chance to learn about mental wellness Saturday afternoon.
City Walk BHAM was taken over Saturday afternoon by the Community Teen Summit, vendors, performances and mental health resources to ensure students have everything they need to be successful.
“They are going through a lot of stuff, they need us to guide them, they need us to provide resources and experiences and all the things,” said Makella Moore Harris, the founder of Fine Arts Find Life.
The summit had all the things Harris talked about. Fine Arts Find Life, the organization running the event, invited vendors and all types of community organizations to connect with students,
