A Grinch is at large in the Upper Valley. According to The Tunbridge Church Pastor John McClintock, six figurines in an outdoor nativity, or crèche, display were found missing by one of the parishioners this past Wednesday morning. The figures were last seen on Tuesday evening. The display is across the street from the church, near the parish office. The figures include depictions of Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus in his manger. The three others include what appears to be one of the three wise men, a shepherd, and a stable animal in photo provided to NBC 5. McClintock said the theft was reported to the Windsor County Sheriff’s office, however, the church does not plan on pressing charges against whoever took them. He added that the church hopes only for the figures to be returned. “You know, the church isn’t a building or figurines, it’s the people,” McClintock said. …
