MOUNT PLEASANT, N.C. (WBTV) – The Community School of Davidson is on to the third round of the NCHSAA 2A state playoffs with a convincing 30-7 win over Mount Pleasant.
The Spartans led 10-0 at the half and did not look back, outscoring the Tigers 20-7 the rest of the way.
That win sets up a date for the 10-seed Spartans to hit the road and face the 2-seed Shelby Golden Lions in the third round on Nov. 29.
