On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the City of Greenville will host its 4th Annual CommUNITY Resource Fair….
The event will gather City staff and elected officials at the Prisma Health Welcome Center in Unity Park. A total of 40 Workforce agencies, support organizations and educational institutions will be on site Tuesday, October 8th, from 4-7pm.
According to Community Development Manager Monique Mattison, “The CommUNITY Resource Fair does have a workforce (jobs) component. [This] is our 4th event and we have expanded to include housing, small business, mental health, and other various topics who strive to serve the residents of Greenville. Due to the close proximity in time to Hurricane Helene’s impacts on the Upstate, we will also offer resources, information and service suggestions for natural disaster recovery.”
There will also be hourly giveaways and prizes during the CommUNITY Resource Fair, as well as free activities for kids.
The event is free and open to the public.
