WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Another earthquake was felt today across Texoma, the second in less than a week.
It didn’t take long for people across our area to start sharing their experiences.
Although the earthquakes occurred 185 miles away from Texoma, residents across Texoma felt the aftermath.
We heard from a Wichita Falls woman who said she was on the third story of her apartment building when the fifth strongest earthquake in Texas history struck.
“I’ve never experienced an earthquake before so it was really strange, and the shaking you know the vibrating.” The resident said.
She said it was a shock experiencing it especially here in Wichita Falls. Since she has traveled back and forth to California, for the past few years, and never experienced one.
All of this stems from earthquakes happening east of Snyder, Texas located in Scurry County.
