More than 20 people are out of their homes after a massive apartment fire on Monday. Now the community is coming together to help.

WAAY 31 spoke with a woman Thursday who made it out of the fire.

Madison Brown was enjoying her senior year at Alabama A&M when her life was put on pause. Brown’s mother told WAAY 31 she is still recovering from the traumatic events of Monday but helped share her story.
