Community raises thousands of dollars for Dothan girl battling brain tumor [Video]

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Residents in the Circle City gathered to raise money for a child fighting for her life on Saturday.

Cookie’s Cafe off of Sixth Avenue in Dothan hosted a chili dog and fish plate sale for Aryanna “Pooh” Griffin, an 8-year-old girl battling a brain tumor.

Hundreds of people across the city made sure to stop by and grab a plate or multiple plates to show support for the family.

After over three hours of serving food, the cafe raised over $8,000 to help Griffin and her family with medical expenses.
