Community group holds 12th annual Giving Tuesday event [Video]

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Community Missions, a local non-profit organization, celebrated its 12th annual Giving Tuesday with a collaboration of more than 40 volunteers and three local restaurants. The non-profit teamed up with Leadership Niagara to bring high school students to the event. Community Missions also collaborated with Village Bake Shoppe, Parkway Prime, and Power City Eatery for its Giving Tuesday. 

“It’s just a great opportunity to give back to the community especially here in Niagara Falls knowing there are so many people that are homeless and in need,” volunteer Mark Piwowarczyk said. “It’s just good to know that all three of us including about 40 of us today that are giving back.
