OROVILLE, Calif. – Two young children, Roman Mendez and Elias Wolford, are still in critical condition after being injured in a shooting at Feather River Adventist School in Palermo earlier this week.
Roman, 6, was shot twice, causing severe internal injuries, while 5-year-old Elias was shot once in the abdomen, also sustaining internal injuries, the Butte County Sheriff said. Both children remain in critical condition, and their families are asking for prayers and support as they navigate this heartbreaking situation.
