SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – An ambitious facility that aims to help teens struggling with homelessness is in the early stages of development.
Scorpion Creek Ranch is the brainchild of Katie Brown, a restaurateur and entrepreneur born and raised in Eugene.
The ranch would serve as a safe haven for teens struggling with homelessness and offer beds, a garden, farm animals, and educational curriculum that would foster teenagers between the ages of 14-18 as they navigate homelessness.
