Columbus County Sheriffs Office collecting propane tanks for Western North Carolina [Video]

COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is asking for propane tanks to support North Carolinians during the colder months.

Chaplain Kevin Taylor will soon go to Western North Carolina to deliver much-needed camping-sized propane tanks for heat and cooking.

Residents are welcome to donate their tanks to the sheriff’s office until Jan. 12.

“Let’s show the true strength of our community by supporting this important cause. Together, we can make a real impact and help keep families warm and fed during these challenging months,” CCSO wrote on their Facebook page.
