COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Ahead of National Neighbor Day on Saturday, Neighbor.com voted Colorado Springs the most neighborly city in America.
This is two spots up from last year.
The website said they took into account charitable donations, volunteering, crime rates, voter turnout and population growth. They say these factors help identify what city embodies what it is like to be a good neighbor.
“Colorado Springs embodies community spirit through strong participation in local charities, recreational activities, and neighborhood events,” Neighbor.com said. “With its rugged outdoor charm and welcoming environment, it sets a new standard for urban communities nationwide.”
Madison, WI received second place and Virginia Beach, VI got third place.
