SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – The Merom Camp and Retreat Center’s “College Hall” has been an important building to members of the Sullivan County community since the 1800’s. College Hall was deemed an endangered historic landmark by Indiana Landmarks.
According to Indiana Landmarks, experts say College Hall needs some hefty repairs.
Indiana Landmarks say the building has made the top ten list of endangered landmarks in Indiana due to its crumbling and collapsing brickwork, leaky plumbing pipes, and mechanical systems that are failing.
David Grim is the executive director of the Merom Camp and Retreat Center. Grim says campers have noticed that the building needs repairs.
