CODA receives donation that will make it possible to renovate building | News [Video]

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The CODA Emergency Shelter recently received a donation that puts them over their donation goal.

Leaders at CODA thanked Movement Mortgage in-person after the folks there gave the non-profit $10,000. That money got CODA to the required amount needed for the Wabash Valley Community Foundation to match the donations.

The CODA Emergency Shelter recently received a donation that puts them over their donation goal.

It’s all to renovate the non-profit’s building on 21 South 17th Street.

“There’s HVAC that needs to be done, there’s some things on the roof, we’re going to do some renovations inside. It is a lot of pieces and parts but once it’s done, it’s going to be so awesome,” said Emily Murray from CODA.

This building will free up three bedrooms in the shelter and will be used as a multi-purpose space.
