To create awareness of the drug menace, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah participated in the Kashmir Marathon and covered 21 kilometers in an average at the pace of five minutes and 54 seconds per kilometer.
“You don’t need drugs to feel good or beat stress. A good run, whether a kilometer or a marathon, is enough to clear the cobwebs and achieve a natural feeling of euphoria and enthusiasm. Try it, you won’t regret it. Let’s start running for a drug-free J&K”, Omar posted on his social media account after starting the marathon.
