A NORTH Face store in a US city will close in weeks, ending more than 15 years of business.
The closing-down outlet has been a constant in Philadelphia city center since 2009, but its days are numbered.
This is because it will close after January 31, as reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer.
And the company has confirmed the closure is in line with the store’s lease expiring.
“The North Face has a long-standing connection to the Philadelphia community,” a spokesperson told the outlet.
The chain has 3,500 outlets worldwide and has two other stores in the greater Philadelphia region.
One store is at the King of Prussia shopping mall, which is approximately 20 miles from the city center outlet.
Another is located in Cherry Hill, a township in New Jersey, around 10 miles away from Philadelphia’s city center.
