Hudson Roberts underwent treatment to remove a brain tumor and will soon start radiation treatment.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knoxville business is stepping up to support a 12-year-old boy as he prepares for radiation treatments after undergoing a procedure to remove a brain tumor.
Hudson Roberts loves sports and hanging out with his family and friends. A year ago, he was a healthy and happy child. Emily Roberts, his mother, said things started to change near the start of this school year.
“He started having kind of infrequent vomiting in the mornings, headaches, just not feeling like he could get up and go quickly in the mornings,” she said.
In December, he passed out at school. Then a few days later, doctors discovered a brain tumor at the back of his head. Emily said he was sent to have a CT scan done at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. She said …
