Clinton community held prayer vigil after fire destroys businesses [Video]

CLINTON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Clinton community held a prayer vigil after a massive fire destroyed multiple businesses on Tuesday.

Pastor Kenny Moore of Davidson Street Baptist Church wanted to bring to community together on Wednesday after he saw the devastation from the fire.

“They just wanted to do someting and what better to do than come together and pray so we can move forward,” said Pastor Moore.

Dozens of people attended the gathering to send up prayers and provide support for the businesses.

Among the those who prayed was Clinton City Council member Ward 4 Gary Kuykendall. He was emotional as he gave a moving prayer during the vigil in the video below.
