Climate Revival Aims to Educate Congregations About Climate Change [Video]

With election season crawling to a close in the next month or so, a push to put climate concerns at the top of your agenda is coming to the doorsteps of voters across America.

Climate Revival is a new nonprofit that is dedicated to mobilizing faith communities and people of color through the power of music. This month, they’re launching the Climate Revival Tour. The eight-city engagement is meant to encourage church congregations and community members to consider climate change as a critical issue on the ballot. The tour comes after Climate Revival’s launch in Washington, D.C. that featured appearances from Leslie Odom Jr,  Rep. Justin J. Pearson (TN), Roishetta Ozane (Gulf Coast Frontline Organizer), Sharon Lavigne (TIME 100 Recipient), Maya Penn (Filmmaker & Environmentalist) and more.
