CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — Cleveland Heights police are investigating a shooting that left a woman dead and a man injured on Saturday morning.
According to a press release, police responded to calls of multiple people being shot at a home on the 3500 block of Randolph Road at approximately 3 a.m. When officers arrived to the residence, they found an unresponsive 74-year-old woman with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers also found an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
Cleveland Heights police have not identified a suspect in the shooting. They ask anyone with information about the incident to call their detective line at 216-291-3883.
