CityLink, Connect Transit offering free rides to the polls [Video]

PEORIA (25News Now) – If you need a ride to the polls in either Peoria or the Twin Cities, consider the bus.

Connect Transit, which serves Bloomington-Normal, and CityLink, which serves Peoria’s metro area, are both offering free rides to the polls.

CityLink is offering free rides starting Saturday, Nov. 2 through Election Day. Connect Transit only offers rides on Election Day but is still fare-free.

“We believe it is our responsibility to provide public transportation to provide better opportunity for those that wish to exercise their right to vote,” Connect Transit said in a release.
