City of Tyler to hold block party [Video]

TYLER, Texas — The City of Tyler Municipal Court and first responders announced Monday they are joining the community Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to celebrate the National Night Out Block Party. 

The party will be held outside of the Municipal Court at 813 N. Broadway Ave. Food and games will be offered along with music and face painting. 

The event is free to the public, and is a part of a wider effort to build relationships between law enforcement and the Tyler community.
