City of Tyler to conduct tests on outdoor warning sirens Monday [Video]

TYLER, Texas — The city of Tyler will be performing test announcements on their outdoor warning siren on the week of June 3. 

A press release from the Tyler Police Department on Monday said they will be adjusting the sound levels of the siren. Citizens can expect “dinging sounds” from the siren, followed by a voice message.

The city of Tyler is emphasizing that this is just a test to adjust sound levels coming from each siren, and this will continue until all sirens have been tested.
