City of Toledo launching new customer portal to pay water bill [Video]

TOLEDO, Ohio — The Toledo Department of Public Utilities is set to launch a new water customer portal to manage bills, make payments and review account history.

The city said the “MyTOL” portal, available online and through a mobile app, will launch on Oct. 21 and be available for customers to register. The MyTOL mobile app will also be available for download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

According to the city, the online billing portal will be unavailable on Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. while upgrades are made. The city said customers whose bills are due before the new portal is available on Oct. 21 will need to find an alternative payment method.
